Newark & Sherwood Concert Band is delighted to return to live performances after the enforced break caused by the pandemic. It missed rehearsing for nearly 16 months and only returned in July. Everyone is delighted to be back and despite being away for so long have found that they have quickly returned to the previous high standards of playing. “Bring Me Sunshine” is the band’s first concert since February 2019 and it will showcase music drawn from the usual wide repertoire of film and show music and some big band sounds which its audiences are used to. “Bring Me Sunshine” is NSCB’s way of saying, “We’re back!”
